An unwavering commitment to our mixology principles, our cocktail list is made up of a blend of in-house creations and classic recipes. Our bar staff are proficient in cocktail service, ensuring each drink is crafted with detail using premium spirits and the freshest of fruit. The Reserve Collection boasts an array of boutique gins and rums unique to Oxford. Though a pub by tradition, The Lighthouse is now also regarded as amongst the best cocktail bars in Oxford.
ALE & DRAUGHT
Throughout its history as a popular Oxford pub, the varied owners have maintained a healthy offering of quality beers, ciders and real ales sourced as locally as possible. The nearby Lion Brewery next to Oxford Castle supplied the pub until its closure in 1999. The Lighthouse now continues the tradition of localised trade - our premium and craft lagers, cask marque real ales and ciders all sourced locally from the nearby Wychwood Brewery in Witney.
WINES & BUBBLES
Using our own knowledge and those of our wine suppliers, we have developed a wine list for evening drinks or as a compliment to our tapas dishes. Rioja, zinfandel rosé, pinot grigio, or a bottle of wine and charcuterie on the deck is a favourite of many a guest. Our drinks list features sparkling wines from around the world and champagnes from the houses of GH Mumm and Perrier-Joet.
COFFEES & TEAS
The humble espresso bean holds a place in many hearts. At The Lighthouse, we enjoy a good cappuccino or a warming mocha and we enjoy making them more. For tea enthusiasts, we offer a range of specialty tea including fresh mint, jasmine green, earl grey and more.
