Are children allowed within the venue?

Persons under 18 years of age are permitted in the venue until 8pm if accompanied by their responsible adult.

Are dogs allowed in the pub?

We don’t allow dog into the pub. It’s size and layout is not best suited to your furry friends

Can we bring our own food or drink?

The Lighthouse features a full bar and kitchen therefore we do not allow outside catering.

Can I reserve a table or area of the bar?

Yes! You can reserve tables via our website, this will then be confirmed by a member of our team by email. We have a 15 minutes late cut off time before we give away a reserved table. To book a table click here.

What is your entry policy?

We unfortunately don’t accommodate stag or hen groups.

Other than that we only ask that all guests be pleasant and respectful to our team.  We have a zero tolerance policy to any behaviour we believe to be inappropriate to either our guests or our team and a two strike rule on noisy behaviour that affects other guests enjoyment.

Do you have a function space?

We do! Our function room, The Boiler Room, is located to the right of the main bar area and is available to hire throughout the year. Please see below for FAQs specific to this space.

Do you have happy hours?

Yes we do indeed. Ours is from 4pm to 7pm seven days a week.

What are the house rules for the space?

The house rules above also apply to The Boiler Room.

What is the capacity of the space?

Up to 50 guests standing and seated or 30 guests only seated.

Is there a hire fee?

The Boiler Room is available to hire, we charge an hourly rate. Please get in touch with us for a quote.

Can I play my own music?

Unfortunately not. While the Boiler Room is separate to the main bar area it is not completely self contained and so music and sound from the rest of the venue can be heard.

Does The Boiler Room have its own bar?

Yes the the Boiler Room has its own dedicated bar.

Can we put up decorations?

Sure you can decorate for your event.  There are hooks on walls for banners and balloons.  Please let me know if there are specific requirements.  We ask that you do not use glitter or confetti and please don't use adhesives (tape, blutac, etc) on venue walls.

Can I arrive in advance to set up? 

We normally allow 15-30 minutes before an event to set up and should be organised with management prior to your booking being confirmed.
